I'm a writer and illustrator on the south coast, UK. One day I doodled a scruffy dog. I christened him 'Hairy Dog' and soon his friends arrived - Long Dog, Fat Cat, Dodgy Bird, Phyllis (a hen), Douglas (a monster), and Schmoo (erm...a schmoo).

Alongside doodling I also write books. Right now I'm creating a range of books for writers who struggle to write. I'm always scribbling ideas on scraps of paper, which I then promptly lose. So I decided to create my own range of notebooks for writers using my Hairy Dog and friends doodles :-)
